The holidays go by pretty quickly & we have a list of fun, cheap (or free…because we all love free!) things to do with the family over the holidays:
- Holidays on Ice: Take the family skating at the Natrel Rink at Harbourfront Centre, featuring the super groovy DJ skate nights. The rink is open daily and is absolutely free.
Dj skatenight at Natrel rink, Harbourfront Centre - Summer fun with a icy twist: This year Nathan Phillip Square features from December 1st to the 23rd, a winter wonderland called Fair in the Square featuring a Holly Jolly midway, Polar Express and a Fire side lounge. The fun ends just before Christmas so hurry down to Queen and Bay for the snowy awesomeness!
- Classic Holiday Beauty: Take a stroll through the Toronto Christmas Market, which is now in its 8th year, at the Distillery District running from November 16th to December 23rd. Rated as one of the best Christmas Markets in the world (cool right?!) visit the sparking trees and canopies, traditional christmas music and carols and even a life size gingerbread house.
Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset - Holidays are here with Theatre Cheer: Fun and affordable are always the best! Enjoy some theatrical fun with The Story: Outdoor Winter Theatre at Christie Pits Park. Admission is by donation and runs from December 11th through to the 30th.
